Blik Bag Bispebjerg
Visual Identity + Art Curation
2023

Blik Bag Bispebjerg is a proposal for how the City of Copenhagen could approach the urban regeneration of Bispebjerg Bakke. The project explores how Bispebjerg’s history and identity as a working-class and industrial neighbourhood can be communicated through the involvement of local residents and users.

Our solution involves creating a series of public display cases. Some of these are designed to communicate the history of the area, while others — referred to as resident display cases — can be used by local businesses and students working within the crafts and trades.

Bispebjerg has a proud tradition of craftsmanship, which is evident not only in its architectural landmarks but also today. NEXT, a vocational school located within the designated crafts district, educates the next generation of craftspeople and skilled professionals. The streets in the area are appropriately named after traditional trades, such as Drejervej and Bygmestervej.

This project was created in collaboration with designer Emma Hemer.
