Safe Choice

Safe Choice is a digital platform designed to help young people access reliable information about contraception.

The project is based on the ongoing research project Safe Choice, which investigates the side effects associated with hormonal contraception. The aim is to develop a digital tool that can help individuals find the form of contraception that best suits their needs.

Through extensive user research, interviews with doctors, and observations of sex education classes, I explored the challenges young people face when seeking information about contraception. The research revealed a clear need for a trustworthy, up-to-date, and accessible source of information. Based on my research and the needs identified by the Safe Choice research project, I designed and developed this digital platform.

This project was my Bachelor Thesis at The Royal Danish Academy.
